Style360 Serves Up A New York Fashionweek Alternative from Sept.9-12. FASHIONTRIBES FASHION BLOG


After three years of hosting cutting-edge fashion events and experiences, Stylelounge has recently been rebranded as STYLE360. Following a fab launch party hosted by Nikon at Henri Bendel, eight hand-picked fashion designers and one design house will be showcased at the Metropolitan Pavilion North. Other events include a fashion party for designer Sylvia Heisel and Max Factor, and a red-carpet 100th birthday celebration for Bendel’s signature Brown & White Stripe; American PHOTO & Nikon teamed up with Alexis Phifer, designer of GHITA, and Mark Seliger to create photo fashion looks & other one of a kind creations inspired by the iconic Brown & White stripe to be auctioned off with all proceeds going to Keep A Child Alive. Additionally, Elle and Mercury Mariner teamed up again to host the Mercury Style Award in which Elle readers entered to win a contest to win a trip to NYC, a shopping spree at Henri Bendel, and voted at on who should show at STYLE360; with a total of 56658 entries cast, Nili Lotan beat out two other designers.

As a retail partner, Henri Bendel will be featuring theatrical window displays during Fashion Week, providing exclusive designers for daytime fashion shows, and an in-store photography gallery by A-list photographer, Mark Seliger, co-hosted by Nikon and American PHOTO. “Our proposition is still about connecting emerging fashion designers with corporate partners to create an enhanced fashion show experience through an innovative stage," notes David Manning, Executive Producer at LIVEstyle Entertainment - the STYLE360 sponsor along with HFM Media U.S. - about the impressive roster of media sponsors ( Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S publications Elle, Elle Decor, Metropolitan Home, & American PHOTO), corporate sponsors (Mercury, Nikon, Max Factor & Sunsilk), supporting sponsors (Mont Blanc,, KARMA California Brut & Hpnotiq), broadcast partners (Beauty & Fashion Channel), and other partners (Christo Fifth Avenue).  The STYLE360 concept, however, takes the 60 feet of runway to magazine pages, the internet, TV sets, mobile phones and retail displays to reach a much bigger market for both the fashion designer and participating corporate brands.”
