Thanks to a splotch-soaked encounter with a fabulous facialist circa 2003, Elle's Carol Han has steadfastly avoided them, relying instead on this homemade recipe passed on from a friend's grandmas who, in her late 80s, still had clear & unlined skin.

• 3 tsp. honey (preferably raw)
• ½ cup whole yogurt (I use the Greek kind with nothing added to it)
• 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
• 1 beaten egg white

Mix all ingredients together and apply the mask to dry, clean skin. Leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Follow with your regular moisturizer.
