Glam Shopping Beat
column - by Lesley Scott:

While it long ago captured the hearts & minds of fashionistas everywhere, the fabulous Target has now pretty much assured its place atop the fashion-foodchain forever with the upcoming May 5th launch of the new Isaac Mizrahi for bridal collection. Ranging in price from $10 - $160, the line includes including bridal gowns, bridesmaid’s dresses and men’s accessories - everything a frugal wedding party could need without being forced to scrimp on style.

“My bridal gowns are all reinventions of the classics, providing an affordable alternative for women everywhere,” explains Mizrahi about his line of eight ivory, white & black bridal looks, including a tulle princess dress, silk charmeuse cowl neck sheath and silk faille trapunto bell gown. “I put a lot of design energy into designing this collection for Target because every bride deserves to find the gown of her dreams, regardless of her budget.  Every woman remembers how she felt on her wedding day for the rest of her life, so ensuring she feels confident in the ‘perfect’ dress is very important to me.”

As an added bonus, every purchase made at one of Target's 1,494 stores or at enables the company to contribute grants & special programs to worthy charities & organizations through their 5% club, through which they have donated more than $2 million a week.

What a great alternative to the typically overpriced wedding dress. You may have to spend a few extra bucks on a good tailor, but it's still a steal!

I also applaud this! I just celebrated 19 years of marriage, and I remember being young and have very little money for a fancy wedding. We made do, and it was sweet, but I think there is way too much emphasis on dresses in the thousands of dollars, especially considering you wear it one day and only for a few minutes. There is no reason you can't have a frugal and fabulous wedding.

All I can say is it's ABSOLUTELY all have done a wonderful job, I'm thrilled!!!
Lets leave the flowers on the front off since they aren't really going to be seen. I kind of like the simplicity of just the plain white w/the color around the bottom. She's such a little girl I think simple is better. But I'm definitely satisfied the the decision to put the flowers on the back. And your idea to put both the chocolate/pink together was fabulous.. it's beautiful!! And the little headband is great as well. It's all just perfect!!
Thank you so much for all your help!
