Louis Vuitton Tribute
This High Fashion Frankenbag as the New York Post so cleverly dubbed it shows the dire consequences of design by committee. According to the Post, the lovingly labeled Tribute (to what? anyone willing to shell out $42,000?) was designed by "a team of executives" along with LV Creative Director, Marc Jacobs - who just headed into rehab again, meaning this was designed pre-rehab...which might explain things.
Which got Radar to wondering if their awesome spread on Handbags of Horror might have served as the original inspiration, since these designer bags were obviously themselves inspired by everyone's favorite murderous dolls, creepy mummies, ghoulish zombies, and swamp things.
