Summary: Dark outside and a sea of black dresses inside can make even the most festive parties and events feel rather grim at times. Thankfully Lhuillier came up with equally gorgeous & appropriate floor-sweeping columns in a delicious palette of cocoa, loden/olive, burgundy, cream, sage, and dark brown.  Unlike many spring collections, prints were conspicuously absent. Waists were defined with a belt-like strip of pale brown embellished with a row of chunky stones.  Complete with Robert Palmer-girl chignons & makeup, the collection epitomized classic glamour.

Color Palette: cocoa, dark brown, olive, loden, sage, burgundy

Textures & Details: waist detail made to look like a light brown belt embellished with chunky stones; goddess’y draped floor length sheaths; absence of prints

Key looks: pretty much every look – a glamourous floor-length red carpet gown
