Ithaca's Anitque Mall is Ripe with Vintage Clothing fit for a fashion expert- A recent visit unearthed a Bonnie Cashin coat and an Adolfo hat-Fashiontribes.com

A recent trip to visit my second family (that of my, for all intents and purposes, "sister"-Hi Mr. And Mrs. McNamara!) found me browsing around the Ithaca Antique Mall.  Small and rustic, located on Trumansburg Road in Ithaca, their selection of vintage clothing was actually quite exciting.  Besides Carolina Herrera, there were a host of fun finds- 1950's playsuits, furry hats and adorable embroidered dresses.  The total score?  Kate-my partner in crime- waltzed out with the above 1960's Bonnie Cashin coat, in mint condition, for probably a fifth of the cost it would have been here in NYC.  The Mall is worth a check out, if only to scour for other treasures, like a Dior Bag.  It's going to be my new vintage destination.

Ithaca Antiques Mall is definitely a juicy secret worth sharing - a friend and I were there earlier this summer and there was tons of pristine vintage, especially an entire wall devoted to Victorian cloaks and jackets.

I have a white leather Bonnie Cashin Sills coat with the Brass turn lock fasteners. I am looking for a buyer. If interested let me know how much you would purchase it for. I can email you a picture as well.
