Feelin' the Love at Tracy Reese

The packed-to-the-gills show -- to sum up just how your typical fashionista feels about football season, I'll quote hair color genius Christopher John, "I'm so glad it's the Superbowl. Now I can have brunch anywhere I want without having to wait!" -- was a wearable fantasy of spangly, embroidered romantic dresses with a Jazz age flapper silhouette that wouldn't have been out of place at a speakeasy.

Tracy Reese's chic gangster's moll apparently goes for easy luxe in fruit-inspired colors: a mango velvet gathered skirt, an easy yellow overcoat, metallic gold shoe, a tulle dress embroidered with pink roses, and some cropped & cuffed wide-leg pants in a grey menswear window-pane check. Bad hair day? No one would notice with the headband of a fountain of hot pink feathers sticking straight up. And  I know "they" keep proclaiming the death of pink, but her fuchia cropped jacket would perk up any Afro Love closet in need of a shot of some attitude.
