An interesting article in a recent edition of MIT Technology Review ponders the ways that Google Glass creeps people out. I would argue, though, that the new Titantium version is a great start in the non-creepy direction. (via) There is certainly nothing too cyborgish about them...and even the standard "cyborg" ones do have a distinct look that will be perceived as less creepy once people find their eye becomes accustomed.
Which, after all, is fashion.
Consider: the following were all deemed quite stylish at various points in time - the ultra-wide court mantua, the elaborately-festooned towering coiffure... dolphin shorts.
