While engaging in every New Yorker's fave weekend sport, Texan transplant AnaLiza Alba found herself missing home. As the convo turned to shopping and fashion (as is inevitable at brunch), an idea sparked. What if she developed a line of sandals that she could take to Texas for trunk shows - like tupperware parties, but with shoes? "I realized what a great time I was having at brunch and that an atmosphere where you are surrounded by friends and food is not only perfect brunching atmosphere, but also perfect for shopping," notes Alba. "It would also bring me home more often."
Her fibi & clo sandals (named for her two kitties) will also be bringing my winter feet out of hiding ... I've just moved up my annual rite-of-spring pedi appointment in the hopes of being able to step out sooner in this glam pair of Black Cascade with bejeweled silver uppers they so generously sent my way.
