For the 2013 new year's issue of French Elle, this Camille Rowe cover reminded me so much of Cybill Shepherd from the early 70s when she appeared in The Last Picture Show (1971) and Taxi Driver (1976).
At the time, she was so ethereally beautiful, director Martin Scorsese was inspired to hunt for a "Cybill Shepherd type" for the role of love interest to Travis Bickle, who even asked her out (presumably in his real life role as Robert De Niro) and was turned down. After which he refused to speak to her for the rest of the filming of Taxi Driver ... except in character.
