These sharp (literally!) cateye Tom Ford sunglasses showcase what the former Gucci & YSL designer still does best: give the sensuous a sculptural edge & take an erotic edge and morph it into something wearable & "eye"-catching! Like these retro-but-not-quite sunnies. The runway collection as a whole was about lots of Bond Girl-worthy ensembles in leather - body-con & black, of course - with knee-boots and massive shades.
And the vibe instantly brought to mind another personal retro-futuristic Tour de Fashion: Catherine Deneuve in that stylish 80s vampire movie, The Hunger, in which she stalks human prey looking quite, well, divine.
While the Tom Fords are statement glasses, no question, they're also sophisticated enough for the office should work happen to interfere with your fabulous life.
