The new Salvatore Ferragamo ad campaign for F/W features a very country squire-chic mix of "moments of leisure" juxtaposed against "primordial nature" - and what better backdrop than the exclusive White Oak Plantation at the border between Georgia and Florida? White Oak is a natural park and wildlife conservation center, home to animals at risk of extinction that enables them to reproduce in a protected setting before they are released back into their natural habitats.
Shot by Bruce Weber, the talent includes models Stella Tenant, Bimba Bosé and Kirsten Owen with her two children - all depicting a life of outdoor games, relaxed elegance, and tranquil time with the fam. Rendered in a rich palette of woodland hues including greens, mosses, barks and blooms, the nature theme even extends to the silk scarves depicting wildcats and other beasts against forests and the landscape of the Savanna, plus a deliberately rough & natural look for pieces like the leather jackets.
