In the UK, Boxing Day originally emerged as a working class tradition; because they typically were made to work on Christmas Day, workers were giving the following day off and exchanged presents then.
For perfumistas, however, Boxing Day is any day that includes a luscious fragrance in an elegant package.

Guerlain Bois d'Armenie I discovered this addition to Guerlain's L'Art de la Matiere Line - created by master perfumer Annick Menardo - at Bergdorf Goodman when Jason Beers, the Guerlain manager and expert knew that its base of benzoin would create a masterpiece on my skin. The scent is based on the light smoke emanating from Papier d'Arménie, the scented paper used as incense since the 16th century. Bathe me in benzoin....
