For a limited time, there are Limited Edition Experiences to be had beginning November 30th - concurrent with Design Miami/. Designers including Proenza Schouler, Dunan Quinn, Christian Dior Homme, and Stubbs & Wootton will be presenting hard-to-come-by merch in innovative environments that reflect their creative viewpoints. Following an appearance in NYC, Gucci will be bringing its flash sneaker store, ICON-TEMPORARY; for this particular retail experience, Gucci Creative Director, Frida Giannini, collaborated with musical artist Mark Ronson on the Gucci Ronson sneaker (below). Fendi will also be participating with the debut of their new canvas Baguette Mezzo Punto. This craftsy DIY kit celebrates the art of making things by hand, or "Fatto a Mano," by allowing you to cross-stitch one of their iconic baguette bags to suit your own particular tastes (less experienced crafters needn't fret as diagrams and illustrations are included in the box).
"As a group, we agree that the best response to the recent changes in the global economic climate is to increase our creative output, make bolder choices and offer people more value in the form of really magical experiences," notes Craig Robins, founder & CEO of Dacra, for which the Limited Editions Experiences program was created; Dacra is an innovative real estate company which uses architecture, art, design, and cultural programs to build creative international destinations. "We think Limited Edition Experiences is going to bring something entirely new to the marketplace by collaborating with an unprecedented roster of creative talents."
