Meet Natasha, Roan, Julie, Lucy and Brittney - the newest characters by Candace Bushnell who star in "The Broadroom" - a four-part series of webisodes that take a humorous look at women in the workplace. In Episode 2, now live at TheBroadroomOnline.com, you can commiserate about what a minefield pumping breastmilk at work is, consider what advice you'd give your younger self, and learn about the powers of vanilla to tame an unruly male client. “While the workplace is the backdrop for these webisodes, women everywhere will recognize something about themselves in these characters. Candace has created funny and relatable situations that will get watercooler conversations started all over the world – that’s the beauty of the Internet!” says Lesley Jane Seymour, the Editor-in-Chief of More, which partnered with Bushnell and her book publisher, Hyperion/Voice, on this project presented by Maybelline New York and their new Color Sensational Lip Color.
“Women today – with all that they juggle at home and at work – lead such complex and colorful lives,” notes Deborah Marquardt, Vice President Integrated Communications, Maybelline New York Garnier. “Candace has once again captured the emotions, challenges and humor that come with balancing our personal and professional lives. Maybelline New York Color Sensational Lip Color is thrilled to be a part of this series saluting fabulous, confident women.”
Starring Jennifer Esposito (Samantha Who?), Talia Balsam (Mad Men), Jennie Garth (Beverly HIlls 90210), Broadway actor Mary McCann, and newcomer Lauren Devereux, the next two webisodes go live October 9 and October 23 at TheBroadroomOnline.com.
