NYC vintage haven Zachary's Smile breathes fashionable new life to old stuff, including men’s dress shirts, leather jackets, and psychedelic 60’s bedsheets - reworking vintage threads into chic, one-of-a-kind dresses, tops, and jumpers.
“Simply embellishing or altering already made garments is not true rework,” explains Kristi Paras, of Zachary’s Smile about their remake/remodel line. “True rework takes unwanted clothing and transforms it into something new and desirable. Every piece is an individual statement in style."
Zachary’s Smile unique twist on vintage has also retailed at Barneys New York, after the store commissioned them to design a group of rework tops and dresses for their Co Op and flagship stores. Not surprisingly, the line quickly flew off the racks, becoming the top three selling brand in Barney’s Co Op that season.
