Collaborating with Natalie Chanin of Alabama Chanin (formerly of Project Alabama), Uluru's Caroline Priebe found herself inspired this season by the artist Frida Kahlo, Irving Penn's iconic images of Balenciaga in the 1950s, and a stylish handmade red suede jacket she found in her Grandma Fritzi's closet. The looks focused on sculptural separates in hemp/wool, silk, bamboo denim and other innovative eco-fabrics in shades of black, fuschia, charcoal, teal, cream, and citrus. To keep the collection 100% biodegradable, the clothes were created without closures, designed to slip on or wrap around. UluruNYC.com.
