A cult fave amongst fash congnescenti in downtown New York, Paris & Tokyo, Nigerian-born, New York-based Tunji Dada - who has lived in the UK and was educated in Boston - is known for his unusual way with fabrics and deconstructed tailoring. His designs have been lauded for walking "that famously fine line between apparel and art" by WWD, and The Harvard Crimson annointed him "nothing short of brilliant."
Much ado...but fortunately about something! His latest KIRU collection is inspired by traditional Japanese kimono, and focuses on the art of wrapping the torso with a contemporary silhouette and proportions. Depending on your body type or degree of bravery, each piece can be worn in a variety of ways.
