A celeb impersonator? No, just model Snejana Onopka in a French Vogue shoot, parodying the American editrix in action at Fashionweek.
According to the fabulous Catwalk Queen, "Wintour might be the most famous editor of Vogue but true fashion mavens love French Vogue's Carine Roitfeld for her innovative photoshoots and forward-thinking fashion sense." How true. While the American editor is always impeccable & appropriate, she seems to have more in common with the models that grace the pages of her magazine: being about the clothes and the labels instead of the personality inside them. Carine Roitfeld, however, is the object of many a (fashion) girl crush because of her sense of style savvy. She possesses that Kate Moss-like ability to take a plastic garbage bag, tweak it, add the right accessories and look great. Roitfeld epitomizes what the truly stylish love best about fashion: that it's a fun form of authentic self expression.
Clothes may make the (wo)man, but without the safety of head-to-toe labels, would Wintour still be chic?
