Anna Wintour, uber-fabulously coiffed editor of American Vogue, recently undertook a complete redecoration of her sparsely chic office - made famous by the movie The Devil Wears Prada. "Anna has decided to freshen up her office," a spokesman told WWD. "After this summer's film, it ceased to feel personal."
In designing Miranda Priestley's office - the Wintour character played by Meryl Streep - the movie's production designer, Jess Gonchor, used internet photos of the editrix at work for reference. "I had no way to get into Vogue," he explained. "I know they wanted nothing to do with it."
While there's no official word on how her newly madeover digs are styled, apparently any and all similarities have been removed. Based on her weekend home in Long Island - which was recently featured in Britain's World of Interiors - Anna-advocates speculate sleek-chic has now been replaced with a more traditional motif. via WWD
