Summary: “This collection is a tribute to the origins of the brand,” explains creative director Christophe Lemaire about this sartorial journey to the Basque country of southwestern France, the birthplace of Lacoste...which turned 75 with this collection. “I was inspired by the chic, sporty elegance of the Lacoste lifestyle.” Using the local game of Pelote Basque as both backdrop & inspiration, Lemaire showed signature Lacoste classic, sporty looks: white & nautical chic, gingham & polka dots, and reinvented polo dresses & shirts in bold, bright colors.
Color Palette: white, red/white, black/white, faded pastels, stripes, wide stripes, polka dots, plaid, gingham, bright colors - yellow, orange, green, blue and pink
Key Looks: halter dresses, with pimento red or black piping worn with platform wedge espadrilles, white mini dresses, mini tennis dress with wide pleats, striped polos mixed with gingham shorts, dresses and swimsuits in oversized polka dots and wide stripes
