How to Look Stylish on the Road. The Top Chic Travel Must-Haves. FASHIONTRIBES FASHION & TRAVEL BLOG
When traveling to other fabulous cities, no one wants to look like a clueless tourist - especially of the sweatshirt-wearing, fannypack-toting ilk. To avoid this fate, pack stylish basics in wash-and-wear fabrics that fend off dirt, inclement weather, and of course, the I'm-not-from-around-here vibes. How? Classic neutrals. These are your secret style weapon, in particular: black, white & khaki.
Wardrobe-wise, wear your flats on the plane & pack a pair of heels in your bag. Upon arrival, rock a flattering black pencil skirt in a knit (hides stains; packs down to nothing), stylish flats with built-in sneaker comfort technology, a trench (which can double as a blanket and/or pillow if need be), a pashmina, and and roomy handbags with lots of room & made from fabrics that clean up in a snap - like nylon. And don't forget your swimsuit...you never know!
