Fashion has gotten so grownup & sophisticated that getting dressed up is fun again; however, it's a lot less fun without the tools of the trade: jewels, sexy shoes, and glamourous hats. While many designers chose to forgo adornment for fall, fortunately our trusty Monsieur Galliano did not.
True, it takes a certain personality type to sport a mini raffia teepee on one's head, but the notion of hiding mysteriously behind a fabulous hat, clad in luscious furs, and tottering around on impractical but gorgeous heels like a pumped-up 40s movie star glamazon...well that pretty much sums up why most of us became obsessed with fashion in the first place.
