FASHIONWEEK FAll 2007: The Baby Phat Lady Maybe a Bit of a Tramp, but She's Not Cheap. FASHIONTRIBES FASHION BLOG
Summary: If unabashed glitz is what you're after, BabyPhat never disappoints. Now, however, it's possible to be full-on sexy even in menswear fabrics & suits. This collection is all about glam for day, evening, night, and all occasions in between - with the high-waisted skirt with flamenco ruffle hem & cute cropped jacket, belted pencil skirt sheath, cream colored bubble skirted mini with matching boots & fox hat that opened the show, and a glimmery black caftan - after all, what conjurs up old Hollywood dropdead glamour like a caftan?
Color Palette: cream; white; black; tweed gray; natural brown fur; dark denim; shimmery lipstick red; shimmery multi-hued prints; metallic aubergine/brown
Textures & Details: metallics; shine; fur trim everywhere; fur hats; tone-on-tone crystal embellishment; drop dead sexy suits; satin; tweed; dark embellished denim; gold embellishment
Key Looks: high waisted menswear fabric skirt suit with flamenco ruffle hem & cropped jacket; winter white bubble skirt mini with matching fur trimmed boots & hat; shimmery black caftan

Kimmora Lee did a excellent job w/her collection. It had flare, chic, and sexy looks. Especially the colorful asymetrical dress. She used the right fabrics, for the right designs.I loved how the garments were tightly clinched in,to show of the models figure.Acessories went great w/the looks.Clearly, the looks desribed as if you going out to dinner, out clubbin or going to work.Compared to Fall 2006 collection she kicked-it up a notch.
