FASHIONWEEK Fall 2007: Re-live the Fashionably Late 70s/Early 80s with Grey Ant. FASHIONTRIBES FASHION BLOG
(Photos: NYMag.com)
Summary: High waisted tapering jeans & a cascade of crimped hair - sprouting from a single ponytail worn high & to one side - makes a fashionista want to don her dancing shoes and head for the disco on high. The muted black, grey, denim & cream palatte was enlivened with festive touches of antique gold metallic & oodles of ruffles, perfect for when you want to feel snazzy without being overly dressed to the nines. Interestingly, unlike many other collections, there was nary a print to be found here. The widelegged, slouchy trousers - popping up on runway after runway - were easy breezy chic, as was the drapey pale gray shirtdress with a white belt (white for fall - why not?). And pairing a cute & girlie pale gray ruffled mini with thick, nerd-chic glasses was a fun touch.
Color Palette: black; eggplant; navy; charcoal; dove grey, cream; antique gold metallic
Textures & Details: ruffles, metallic tops, white belts, nerd-chic glasses, angular geometric necklaces by Alex + Chloe
Key Looks: dark high-waisted taper leg denim; widelegged slouchy gray pants; pale grey drapey shirtdress; ruffled metallic top with dark skinny leg pant

I realy loved this showed because the chic outfits. Outfits look as if you would wear them to work, dinner, or out to the club.My favorite was the stylish asymetrical dress. It was very color and long. Which made it very sexy and chic. Compared to the Fall 2007 Show, this show was much better.
