FASHIONWEEK Fall 2007: The Iconic Catherine Deneuve inspires French Speaking Fabulousity at Zang Toi. FASHIONTRIBES FASHION BLOG
Summary: The Zang Toi femme is sexy and showy, and enjoys being female - like the icon that inspired the collection. The Deneuve on the Zang Toi runway, however, enjoys a wider variety of playful prints, colors and flourishes than her real life namesake. Adding a flirtatious giant red bow to a tweed suit made it fun, and the leopard trench and beret that opened the show were pure Parisian je ne sais quoi. And get thee to the hairdresser for a full-on perm as the coiffure forecast is massive, curly, and headed skyward.
Color Palette: black; red; burnt orange; grey; leopard; camel; red cabbage rose print
Textures & Details: think luxe animal prints; rose prints; fur; chiffon; wool
Key Looks: leopard trench; camel coat with matching pants & fur shawl collar; black femme fetale skirt suit; burnt orange floor length gown
