Summary: The Lacoste show created an image of fall foliage with a leaves-covered runway, serving as the perfect background for a wardrobe suitable for the countryside. Creative director Christopher Lemaire pays homage to Brittany, France, reminiscent of the mid-seventies during the Golden Age of French Cinema. The collection has a nautical and a walk through the country feel. There are a lot of basic pieces that can be taken from this collection, anything from a turtleneck sweater to a corduroy blazer. There are also necessity pieces for the season, such as a rubberized raincoat.
Color Palette: navy, maroon, red, plaids, stripes, neutral tones of khaki, cream, brown, beige, black, white and grey
Textures & Details: knits, corduroy, padded jackets and vests for women, skinny jeans and slim fits for men and women, faux sheepskin and shearling collars for men,
Key Looks: canvas Wellington boots with patent leather trim, glossy padded jackets and vests, twin-set sweater mini-dress, oversized shawls, shirtdress over long-sleeve gingham button down shirt, men’s bomber jacket, men’s corduroy jackets with slim-fit jeans tucked into boots
