Summary: Since there is no smoking permitted pretty much anywhere indoors in New York these days, the models couldn't slouch down the catwal, puffing from long cigarette holders, but these 20s glitterati on the runway well could have. The luxurious velvet cocoon coat with plush shawl collar and eyecatching black frock with shimmery silver bead fringe - set on a figure-flattering "V" angle that shimmied & shook with every step - felt like a party at Gatsby's come to life, while the black sequin sheath with large fuschia sequin polka dots, and the floor length silver encrusted lace layered over gold were the modern day equivalent.

Color Palette: black; ruby; gold; silver layered over gold; rich dark forest green velvet; black sequins with large fuschia polka dots; brown with grey; rich midnight blue; black with silver bead fringe; gold with teal

Textures & Details: plush velvet; silver lace layered over gold; beaded trim; sequins; large fabric rosettes; brocade

Key Looks: black flapper shift with silver bead fringe arranged in a "V"; floor length encrusted silver lace gown layered over gold; black sequin shift with large fuschia polka dots; ruby velvet cocoon coat with plush grey shawl collar
