Summary: What's completely fabulous about a John Galliano show is that regardless of how you might feel about the clothes themselves (what a concept), it's always guaranteed to be an entertaining visual spectacle. Filled with tons of interesting ideas - black rhinestone-studded eyebrows; "lipstick" fashioned from bronze lip-shaped cutouts; hair fashioned into elaborate headpieces - these touches are similar to the canary in the fashion mine: they indicate what's new & what to pay attention to. Bling'ed out eyebrows herald a return to this part of the face as a major focal point. Over-the-top hair gives stylists everywhere license to encourage their clients to finally break any lingering attachments to Japanese Ionic straightening & have a little fun. Oh, and the clothes? Look past the theatrical styling at the sexy, completely wearable day dresses, flattering skirt suits, and gorgeously drapey floor length evening columns.
