A recent surprise at the spring 2007 fashion shows was the continued popularity of both dresses and the color gray.

A good way to get max fashion mileage is to combine both, especially in a wrap- or shirt-dress. Not only are they chic in-and-of themselves, they can easily be dressed up or down with a simple change of footwear, bag & accessories.

For fall, why not pair your new gray dress with fall's trendy platform Mary Janes? When the temperatures drop, simply add tights in either black or steel gray.  A clutch is a fresh new way to update your bag, especially for day, in a rich jewel tone and fabric such as brocade, metallic or event velvet.  And even though waists are being defined, a long metallic necklace with a funky or interesting ethnic influence adds instant throwaway chic.
