FASHIONWEEK Spring 2007: Tie-dye ombre Gets the Ladylike Treatment at Pamella Roland . FASHIONTRIBES FASHION BLOG & PODCAST

Summary: Dip-dyed chiffon never looked so upmarket, atop full skirts, ruched into strapless bodices, and rendered as an ombre design on a tea dress. A slick grey menswear three-piece pant suit met its girlie match in the form of a hot pink brocade skirt suit, while cocktail frocks galore and red carpet looks dominated the runway

Color Palette: oyster, dove grey, ivory, gold, camel, white & camel print, hot pink, shimmery candyfloss pink, caramel & rust print on silk

Textures & Details: scarves tied around the neck like a French fille; fun details that revealed themselves from behind such as a completely open back; a classic trench with black tulle peeking out at the hem; necklace-like embellishment around the neck

Key looks: ivory tunic layered over caramel with an asymmetric hem; hot pink brocade skirt suit; ombre full skirt with shirtwaist top
