Chautauqua's Spencer Hotel recently announced the introduction of a new Book Club Getaway Package for groups and book club members who want to enjoy a weekend getaway with their literary-loving friends - featuring a wine cheese reception, full British breakfast, and even a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble. Each of the 26 rooms in the cozy, literary-themed boutique hotel, located on the grounds of the Chautauqua Institution, pays homage to a renowned author and depicts scenes from their most famous works. In the C.S. Lewis, a mural dedicated to The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe depicts the image of stepping into Narnia, complete with the famed wardrobe. In the Isak Dinesen, a play on the Out of Africa theme allows guests to slumber under their very own dream-like safari tent, while the Jules Verne gives the playful feel of sleeping up in a balloon traveling Around the World in Eighty Days.
