“If you are a healthy man in today’s society and you’re a virgin, then something’s radically wrong. There are so many beautiful women out there, simply longing for the comfort and companionship of a good man, it’s ridiculous," explains Chet Rowland of Chet's Dating System - who typically charges upwards of $5,000 a day for his services teaching men to have confidence in themselves, learn how to approach & converse with the opposite sex, and ultimately, how to find a soul mate. "The simple truth is, if you’re an adult male and you haven’t slept with a woman yet, it’s only because you feel awkward, probably because of low self-esteem that came either from negative messages you heard when you were a kid, or else you had a bad experience. For whatever reason, you haven’t been able to let go of these feelings.”

Rowland, who lost his own innocence at age 14, is currently transforming Nate Rifkin, a frustrated 20-year-old virgin from Boston, Massachusetts into a stud - or as Rowland calls it: a Romantic Hero.  Frustrated over his lack of success with women, Rifkin - a non-troll - recently moved out of mom's house and hired Rowland to help him attain Lothario status. Rowland has even guaranteed the aspiring Romeo his money back if the foolproof Dating System doen't produce - mostly by focusing on expanding his mindset as to what's possible, as well as developing his conversational skills.  “If Nate doesn’t go from frustrated zero to Romantic Hero in seven days, then I’ll refund every single nickel he’s paid me, plain-and-simple...My job, over the next seven days, is to prove this unequivocally to Nate, and I know Nate will leave here believing in himself and in all the wonderful things he has to offer some lucky woman.”

Some of the tips offered up by Rowland for guys unlucky in love in a podcast interview with Fashiontribes (above):

• Know what you're looking for. "Listing your goals, dreams and desires is like a magnet that draws them toward you." Also, by listing characteristics that are important to you, you won't be swayed by a woman's looks...as in "she's too hot for me to even approach."
• If you do nothing, nothing will happen. "I went through a six month period where I stopped looking, and that's exactly what happened...nothing." Rowland advises getting busy, meeting girls online or wherever one catches your eye.
• Don't be unrealistic. Typically, date-bereft guys need a reality check. "They want a woman that's superfit, and they've never been to a gym. They want one with nice skin, and they have acne. They want everything they can't offer."
• Think long term. Unlike the pickup artists of The Game, Rowland takes a longer term approach with the goal of creating a lifetime of lasting love. While hooking up with a different woman every night may seem like nirvana to non-participants, Rowland warns that it's actually exhausting and frustrating, unlike a rewarding - physically, spiritually & emotionally - relationship.
• Focus on what you have to share. Instead of being shy, realize that by not trying to date people, you are "depriving a woman who is looking for guy like you to to a share her life with.
• Be brave. As with anything, the first time you do it, you're generally inept. Rowland says that this applies to dating as well. "With each step, you get a little more confident. If you hang in there, you get better and better. The main thing is to get rid of your fear."
