Sure you can find great suits...for a great price. Fork over enough cash, and of course you'll look like a million. But if you're on a non-millionaire's budget, one option to consider is vintage. Back in the day, women tended to be more demure in their appearance - perfect for today's stylish professional operating in a non-fashionista environment - and many of the cuts & silhouettes are completely flattering.
Exhibit A: This adorable, completely-on-trend gray suit. The only caveat: with a gathered skirt, length becomes of tantamount importance if you don't want to venture into frumpyland.
