Hand-Made Pop-Up Cards From Nepal - A View of the Himalayas That Benefits UNICEF. FASHIONTRIBES LIFESTYLE & FASHION BLOG

Pop_up_cards

Handmade paper from the Himalayas is one of Nepal's ancient crafts. The paper in these adorable cards comes from a managed forest in the hills of Nepal, and the cards themselves are manufactured by crafts-people in the medieval town of Bhaktapur.

Proceeds from the sales are used for community development activities under a Community Development Programme initiated by UNICEF/Nepal. Taraluna.com via Treehugger.com
