"Since glass does not lose its quality when reprocessed, I use 100% recycled glass as my raw material. I turn transparent sheets of glass into unique, colorful pieces of art which are also environmentally friendly," says Mesz, explaining that it's not uncommon for broken wine glasses, beer bottles & even shattered car windshields to make their way into Sillice designs. "I focus on making sustainable art," the artist confirms. "I consciously chose to work in a sustainable manner."
