Fashiontribes Don'ts-NYC Street Fashion Felony # 512-Not only is she shopping for counterfeit bags, but clearly she is no fashion expert with this dress and espadrille combo-Fashiontribes.com blog

All my ire doesn't come solely from the fact that this dope is poking around Manhattan's Bermuda Triangle, AKA Canal Street and Chinatown. Even thought I sincerely want to kick anyone involved in the black market for counterfeit bags in the face-you would too if you had to walk past the mob scene and hangers on daily-I can completely understand tourists thinking in their peanut brains why this is a good idea. This women looks like an idiot for other reasons. Like the fact that not only is her dress an ugly print and a dowdy shape and fabric, but also ill-fitting on her less-than-svelte frame. I mean, this makes her look like she's got a little more than back...like back fat. To add to the blow was her Manhattan Portage-style messenger bag (so 1993) and her hideous Payless espadrilles, which look as if they might unravel beneath her feet. So, so cheap,no? Get it together. Your supposed to look your best when visiting other places!

Here is to Rachel. After watching some of your articles about FASHION DON’T I was really disappointed and will not come here again, although there’ve been some useful information. Do those people you criticized know you took their photos and put them on this site? I hope they don’t cuz they have pride too. I feel so bad for the lady in Chinatown that you said “her dress an ugly print and a dowdy shape and fabric, but also ill-fitting on her less-than-svelte frame,” and the “stupid girl” wearing Halloween costume on July 24th you wrote on August 25, 2005. I also feel so bad for the family gorging McDonald’s on the subway you wrote about on August 24th, 2005. I think you used the word GROSS to describe them or their behavior, I don’t know. Bad dresses and bad behaviors are not pleasing but everyone has their own taste and different social background, which might result in different behavior. As long as they do us no harm we shouldn’t judge them, especially with such harsh words. If you really wanna teach readers about fashion don’ts with photos please at least hide their faces, that’s common sense. If their dresses and behaviors really bother you so much, why don’t you go and talk to them about what you think and make the world more pleasing/ make yourself more comfortable?

Yo Rachel, why don't you put a picture of yourself shopping so that we can try and be as malicious as you prove yourself to be in this site.
Get a life, Rach
