West Coast Leather Launches SMOKIN' Haute New Leather Fashions
Check out the podcast with Skip Pas, creative director for West Coast Leather for store locations but also great 411 on the latest and hottest new leather fashions.
What's cool about this is that you can get the same quality as the vey chi-chi high end labels for a fraction of the price of the haute couture.
Skip Pas (fashion and design director for West Coast Leather) has a history in leather-- courtesy of North Beach Leather, the original US leather brand that was hip and hot with celebrities. Now Pas has a lot more going on courtesy of West Coast Leather--which is more like an evolution in leather fashion and clothing to create more styles, a different vibe and also feature new and unusual designers. Pas believes in treating leather much like fabric because it is a fabric-- just a very different texture fabric. Take a good listen to the podcast and here are some of the styles that Skip and I talk about in the interview. These are smokin' hot... very very cool. If you trying to figure out where to place this line in the fashion stratosphere-- look at the high end designers like those featured in Vogue and Bazaar as well as InStyle. This is couture leather- they even do custom work.

This is a grouping of dresses from West Coast Leather. The middle one has a real lace hem and it's the one worn by Rachel from the PussyCat Dolls to a celebrity awards event! The dress on the left has grommets studded into the leather. The one on the right has rings in the bodice that allow the bodice to flex a bit . (very sexy!).

Not only have the pants become more vintage and detailed but the jackets too. Note the narrower arms-- There is soooo much for men that I dare not put it all up. Let me make a sexist comment here- this is just so hot..
ID Racer Jacket is really cool.. and very hot because it eliminates the need for a large handbag-- or maybe forget about it entirely!
