The best thing about J.Peterman is the descriptions that make whatever they're describing seem almost irrelevant compared to their evocative backstories. This gem involves a tale of stumbling upon a Paris antique shop one bleak winter day, and finding a set of silver handled brushes, a straight razor, and some silver-stoppered glass bottles in a fitted leather train case; the date "1903" was handwritten on one particularly unique yew-wood encased bottle. Further investigation revealed the contents to be an "old woody fougère" with notes of citrus, bergamot, clary sage, leather and tabac.

Translation: chicks will way, WAY dig the way this aftershave smells on you.
