Who hasn't had it with boring blue buttondowns and say-nothing neutrals?
The antidote? The Spring/Summer 2007 Collection from Bogosse , which mixes the crisp elegance of 1950s tailoring with playful colors like fresh apple green, hot fuchsia & brilliant turquoise...reminiscent of the legendary brightly hued souks of Morocco (instead of a prosaic cubicle). "These colors are so fresh, you want to take a bite out of them!" exclaims designer, Fabrice Tardieu, one half of the "Bogosse Boys" (with brother Patrick). "We believe in bright, expressive and emotionally passionate colors for men. When the tailoring is top-notch and the fit and cut are classic and elegant, it is a very sophisticated combination that works from St. Tropez to Milan."
Expert & stylish travelers themselves - Patrick, a former international soccer star and Fabrice, an executive with Armani France - the brothers design for men on the move. A-list fans include Usher, Ryan Seacrest, Jamie Foxx, Robert Verdi, Nick Lachey, Owen Wilson & Joaquin Phoenix. "We worked with a melange of fabrics for this season, so there is linen, there is cotton-linen," says Patrick, " pack-able and versatile, the shirts do double duty- wear them to dinner at night and over a bathing suit, with chic summer loafers for the beach the next day."
