The Year My Luck (in Jewelry) Changed
When a piece this fabulous arrives on your doorstep the day before your birthday, you know the year's gonna rock. This oversize gold-plated bronze horseshoe pendant with its fabulous antiqued & hammered finish recently rode in a stagecoach from back East courtesy of Sarah Lewis, a New York born jewelry designer who received her formal training at the Savannah College of Art and Design & now designs under the label ADORN.
Now based in Philadelphia, she continues to express her love affair with crystals, stones & metals - a passion she's nursed & nurtured since childhood - creating pieces made from sustainable & reclaimed materials. The collection itself is ever evolving, the older designs slowly retired as they make way for fresh new pieces which reflect whatever Lewis's artistic obsessions of the moment happen to be.
