Crafty as a kid and obviously more so as an adult, Pichulik's statement necklaces are made from a melange of materials she collects, both exotic (bone) and less so (beads; rope). "I am inspired by the plethora of artist friends I have around me, my
many travels, and the gutsy and down right courageous stuff in each one
of us," notes the South Africa-based designer, adding: "Send me a memory (an image or a phrase) and I can make you your jewel."
