Roar Through the Holiday with Some Biker Edge in Your Step (& Look)
Whether you peruse the Petites or purchase from the Plus Size Womens Clothing department, your holiday finery should be less about what you sacrfice for it (constricting shapewear, brutal heels; bare legs in snowstorms) and more about what it can do for you. Like a sassy jumpsuit in always-appropriate black. It creates a long line visually, making it slenderizing and elegant'izing, while the swishy wide legs and heel bring to mind an era when people looked (and behaved) glamorously. Fortunately, fabrics today are a lot more comfortable, so they move with you...whether your headed to the holiday office party, an after-hours event or whatever else is filling up your holiday dance card.
For this look, I went for a more downtown feel for evening by switching out the blingy statement necklace or earrings (chic but expected) for a floaty skull-print scarf with is a more low key but high style choice. Fierce booties, a cool clutch and pleather biker keep a girl feeling as cool (and comfy) as can be.
