The saturated & rich reds of the new Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour collection definitely bring the ladylike 50s to mind and the work of Blumenfeld, who shot more covers for Vogue than any photographer before or since. Originally a collagist, he began shooting fashion in the late 1930s.
