While traveling, designer Noemi Ivanova - of the *Made by Noemi* brand - found her on-the-go lifestyle lacked a few key accessories that simplified the transit part while still adding some flair daily life. "Small things," she explains, "where function meets your needs rather than just being another thing to carry around." And in a small, cluttered shop in New York, she found exactly what she was looking for.
"The combination of the crocodile pattern, the gloss of the leather and the charming chaos in the shop activated by imagination and I couldn't resist it." So much so, she bought out their entire stock and used it inspire "One Day I Met a Crocodile", a small but mighty collection which includes an iPhone case, a passport holder, an iPad case, wallets in two sizes & a protective case for any old-school books you may be engrossed in. "I wanted to create a simple case that could easily cover my
paperback when I have it in my bag," she explains. "A case I could use over and over again that protects it from keys and other objects getting between the pages and tearing them up."
The two sizes of the wallets are similarly born of experience. "To travel is wonderful and during all these years, I've always had a bigger wallet for all my travel documents, money and other important information." Her self-professed "soft spot" for airports, especially ones she hasn't been through before, tends to start her to daydreaming and having all her various docs to hand - in style - will help even the daydreamiest travel still make the flight on time.
