Each season, the team at Desigual - the fresh & funloving brand out of Barcelona, Spain - comes up with a ginormous assortment of splashy, creative clothes & accessories (usually over 1000 items per season) built around a theme which further the company's commitment to positivity, tolerance, commitment & good ole' fashioned fun.
For Fall 2012, they are collaborating with none other than the French designer Christian Lacroix on a Baroque-tinged collection inspired by 18th century upholstery, floral prints & Asian design details.
Plus Marilyn Monroe (and really, why not?)
Look for lotsa layering, embroideries, striking trims and flat-out fabulous footwear, including booties, knee boots & skyhigh stilettos that come in fabrics to match many of the looks.
