For Zac Posen's Z Spoke Runway Show, OPI "Nails" It
To accessorize his much-buzzed about Z Spoke show at the 2010 September Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC, the designer opted for OPI. “Given that OPI is the leading nail lacquer in the world, we couldn’t resist working with their gorgeous array of colors,” says Posen. “OPI is a noted fashion accessory in itself and will add the perfect touch to this year’s Z Spoke collection.” OPI nail mavens will be polishing away behind the scenes, styling nails and toes amongst the hustle and bustle of Z Spoke wardrobe changes and hair transformations. As Posen’s line is finalized and made runway-ready, specific lacquers from each collection will be chosen a few days prior to the show. “Nail color is just as much about fashion as it is about beauty," adds Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. "OPI is honored to have a strong presence at this year’s Fashion Week, walking the runway with such an esteemed fashion icon as Zac Posen.”
