Since DKNY first introduced the cozy in 2003, it has attained something of a cult status, accompanying many a fashionista everywhere - planes, trains, automobiles, the beach, the office, cocktails, or just looking street smart. However, if you've ever wondered about expanding your repertoire of ways to wear it, the new iPhone application is like having your own stylist on the go - a tap of the app and twist of the cozy (there are more than a dozen different ways to tie it) and you can change your look in a snap.
"We wanted to give the personal stylist experience to clients using technology that is available today. Not only is it more environmentally friendly and cost effective, the cozy app is always accessible and much more comprehensible than a printed guide," says EVP of Global Marketing & Communications, Patti Cohen. "The cozy application represents very forward thinking at DKNY," adds Scott Michaels, Vice President of Atimi Software which developed the app. "The hi–definition and well crafted instructional content represents a cost effective way to deliver this message directly into the hands of consumers and staff. I expect that many other brands are going to follow suit on DKNY's lead."
