Smart fashionistas have already learned to live without full-size shampoo bottles and blow-dryers on the road, and have long-mastered the the secret of creating tons of clever outfits out of the fewest wardrobe items possible. But with checked-bag fees, long security lines, and the general hassle of lugging a suitcase from place to place, should accessories also be on the leave-at-home list?
Not if you know where to stay and who to borrow from.
In advance of a stay, U.S.-based guests of the hotel can now rent designer bags, jewelry and sunglasses, all of which will be shipped to the hotel for free - and already waiting for you upon your arrival. “Offering Avelle’s service to our guests as part of our reservation process adds an exciting touch of luxury you won’t see at other boutique hotels in New York,” says Phil Columbo, Asset & Managing Director of The Bryant Park Hotel. “The new partnership with Avelle further solidifies our status as the fashion-centric hotel, and we are proud to be the first to offer this kind of service.”
At the end of your stay, simply return what you borrowed to the hotel concierge who will ensure everything gets returned...no shipping, packing, or (shudder) post office required. “Bryant Park has a reputation as the fashion hotel in the fashion capital of the U.S., and with designers like Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Gucci offered on Avelle’s site, forming a partnership with this hotel was a natural for us,” notes Michael Smith, Avelle CEO. “We believe that women should never have to choose among their beloved handbags when traveling – and Avelle looks forward to providing the hotel’s guests with their own closet away from home.”
Sweetening the deal further is the fact that hotel guests also receive 25% off their rental fee. To take advantage of this fabulous service, first make a reservation at the Bryant Park Hotel; then look for an email containing info on the hotel's partnership with Avelle along with a direct link to the site.
