Vivienne Westwood Explains Herself! (Video)

Better known for her Queen-Mother-on-crack clothing than advocacy of the rainforests, Dame Vivienne dedicated the latest Red Label runway show (Spring/Summer 2010) to the frog - symbol of the rainforests and The Prince's Rainforest Project which is attempting to get world leaders to do something other than just meet (and pose for photo opps) to protect the rainforests. The models variously carried frog-themed accessories (including pop-ette Pixie Geldof who walked) and the designer also had her studio create an oversize, handprint-covered fiberglass frog model to remind runway show attendees that we all have a role to play in tackling climate change...so it's high time to roll up those sleeves and get our collective hands dirty!
